Classic comfort - banana bread in bar form

These banana walnut oat bars bring beloved banana bread flavor to a wholesome bar.
Ingredients
- 200g rolled oats
- 100g butter
- 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 75g honey
- 50g light brown sugar
- 75g walnuts (chopped)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan)
- Line a 20cm square tin with baking paper
- Melt butter, honey, and sugar in a pan
- Remove from heat, stir in mashed bananas, cinnamon, and vanilla
- Mix in oats, half the walnuts, and salt
- Press into tin, sprinkle remaining walnuts on top
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden
- Cool completely before cutting
