Autumn warmth - maple and toasted pecans

These maple pecan oat bars bring cozy autumn flavor to wholesome oats.
Ingredients
- 200g rolled oats
- 100g butter
- 100g pure maple syrup
- 50g light brown sugar
- 75g pecans (roughly chopped)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan)
- Line a 20cm square tin with baking paper
- Melt butter, maple syrup, and sugar in a pan
- Remove from heat, stir in vanilla
- Mix in oats, half the pecans, and salt
- Press into tin, sprinkle remaining pecans on top
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden
- Cool completely before cutting
Batch Baking
