- Ice cube tray
How to make it
- Muddle blackberries in a bowl (crush them gently)
- Tear sage leaves to release oils
- Mix blackberries, sage, and water
- Add honey if using, stir
- Strain if you want smooth cubes, or leave chunky
- Pour into ice cube tray
- Freeze for at least 4 hours
How to use
Drop 1-2 cubes into sparkling water, iced tea, or lemonade. The blackberry color bleeds beautifully as it melts.
Why this works
Blackberries are naturally sweet, sage adds complexity. No artificial flavoring, no sugar overload. Just real ingredients frozen in time.
Practical tip: Frozen blackberries work just as well as fresh and are cheaper. No one will know the difference.
