These ice cubes are your secret weapon for busy mornings. Make a batch on Sunday, store them in the freezer, and drop one into water or tea whenever you need a quick boost.
What you need
- Fresh ginger (about 5 cm piece)
- 2 lemons
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Optional: a pinch of black pepper (helps absorption)
- Ice cube tray
How to make it
- Grate the ginger (no need to peel if organic)
- Squeeze the lemons
- Mix ginger, lemon juice, turmeric, and pepper in a bowl
- Pour into ice cube tray
- Freeze for at least 4 hours
How to use
Drop 1-2 cubes into a glass of water, sparkling water, or warm tea. Let it melt slightly and stir. That's it.
