Kiwi Lime cubes

Kiwi Lime cubes

Tangy, tropical, and ready in 5 minutes

These kiwi lime cubes bring bright green color and tangy flavor to your water, smoothies, or cocktails. The kiwi adds natural sweetness and vitamin C, the lime keeps it fresh and zesty.

What you need

  • 3 ripe kiwis
  • 1 lime (juice + zest)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Optional: a touch of honey if kiwis are too tart

How to make it

  1. Peel the kiwis and roughly chop
  2. Juice the lime and add zest
  3. Blend kiwis, lime juice, zest, and water until smooth
  4. Taste and add honey if needed
  5. Pour into ice cube trays
  6. Freeze for at least 4 hours

Why this works

No cooking, no added sugar unless you want it. The kiwis are naturally tangy and the lime adds extra zing. Drop a cube into sparkling water for a bright green refreshment, or add to margaritas for tropical flavor.

Practical tip: Use ripe kiwis that give slightly when pressed - they're sweeter and easier to blend. The seeds add texture but you can strain them out if you prefer. These cubes have a beautiful bright green color.
