Floral, calming, and ready in 5 minutes
These lavender lemon cubes bring gentle floral notes and relaxation to your water, tea, or evening drinks. The lavender adds calming aroma and subtle flavor, the lemon keeps it bright and balanced.
What you need
- 1 lemon (juice + zest)
- 1 teaspoon dried culinary lavender (or 1 tablespoon fresh)
- 1 cup water
- Optional: a touch of honey
How to make it
- Bring water to a boil and steep lavender for 5 minutes
- Strain out the lavender
- Let the lavender water cool
- Mix with lemon juice and zest
- Add honey if using
- Pour into ice cube trays
- Freeze for at least 4 hours
Why this works
Minimal effort, maximum calm. The lavender is subtle and soothing, the lemon keeps it from being too floral. Drop a cube into sparkling water for a calming drink, or add to evening tea for relaxation.
Practical tip: Use culinary lavender, not decorative - it's food-safe and tastes better. Start with less lavender if you're new to the flavor - a little goes a long way. These cubes are perfect for unwinding at the end of the day.
