These strawberry cucumber cubes bring gentle sweetness and hydration to your water or drinks. The strawberries add natural sweetness and color, the cucumber keeps it light and refreshing.
What you need
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1/2 cup water
- Optional: fresh mint leaves
How to make it
- Hull the strawberries
- Wash and roughly chop the cucumber (no need to peel if organic)
- Blend strawberries, cucumber, and water until smooth
- Add mint if using
- Pour into ice cube trays
- Freeze for at least 4 hours
Why this works
No cooking, minimal ingredients. The strawberries bring sweetness without being too heavy, and the cucumber adds hydration and freshness. Drop a cube into water for a spa-like drink, or add to white wine spritzers.
Practical tip: Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor and natural sweetness. If your cucumber has large seeds, scoop them out before blending. These cubes are perfect for staying hydrated on warm days.
