Black tea, peach, a touch of sweetness. Drop one into cold water or iced tea. Instant summer, no matter the season.
What you need
- 2 black tea bags
- 1 ripe peach (or 1/2 cup frozen peach slices)
- 1 cup hot water
- Optional: 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
- Ice cube tray
How to make it
- Steep black tea in hot water for 5 minutes
- Remove tea bags, let cool slightly
- Dice peach into small pieces
- Mix tea, peach, and honey if using
- Pour into ice cube tray (distribute peach pieces evenly)
- Freeze for at least 4 hours
How to use
Drop into cold water for instant sweet tea. Add to iced tea for extra peach flavor. Melt into lemonade for a Southern twist.
Why this works
Sweet tea is already a classic. Peach makes it summery. No need to brew tea every time you want a glass—just drop a cube in water.
Practical tip: Use frozen peach slices if fresh peaches aren't in season. They're pre-cut and just as flavorful.
